The highly anticipated trailer for Tamil superstar Vijay’s upcoming movie “Leo” has been released. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film showcases Vijay in a tough and rugged role as he takes on a serial killer, a group of gangsters, and even a hyena.

The trailer begins with an aerial view of the beautiful Kashmir Valley, accompanied by a narration about a ruthless serial killer, portrayed by choreographer Sandy Master, who indiscriminately shoots people.

We then catch glimpses of Sanjay Dutt’s character, Antony Das, and Arjun’s character, Harold Das. Enter Thalapathy Vijay as a fearless and bold police officer who confronts the serial killer head-on.

However, things take a dark turn when Sanjay Dutt’s menacing villain enters the scene, declaring that Vijay can’t deceive him, despite his ability to fool the town and the world. Vijay, who has been trying to shield his family from the shadows of his past life, struggles to protect them from the gangsters.

The trailer also introduces us to Gautham Vasudev Menon’s character as a police officer, and actress Trisha Krishnan plays Vijay’s wife in the film.

“Leo” is set to hit the screens on October 19, making it the second collaboration between Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Their previous project together was “Master,” which came out in 2021.

The film also features a star-studded cast, including Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Priya Anand. “Leo” has been co-produced by SS Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studio and Jagadish Palanisamy. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film, marking his third collaboration with Vijay after “Kaththi” and “Master.”

Before the trailer release, the makers unveiled the first-look posters, featuring Trisha Krishnan, the leading lady of the film. In one of the posters, Trisha, dressed in a deep purple saree, appears shocked, and there’s a blood-stained spear in the image.
