Afridi, Misbah, Razzaq set to feature in Cricket Global Cup

The Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA) has unveiled the lineup for the inaugural MCW Over 40s Cricket Global Cup, set to commence in Karachi later this month. This eight-nation tournament is scheduled to take place from September 19 to October 2.

The roster comprises former cricketing legends such as Shahid Afridi, Misbah-ul-Haq, and Abdul Razzaq. Alongside this formidable trio, the Pakistan team will also include two other former cricketers, the fast bowler Mohammad Sami and the batsman Hasan Raza.

Pakistan’s journey towards the championship will commence with their first match against the United States (USA) at the National Stadium on September 19.

The competition will showcase strong teams from around the world, including Australia, West Indies, Nepal, Hong Kong, Canada, and the UAE.

A total of 36 matches are scheduled to be held at five different venues in Karachi, with Pakistan’s matches exclusively taking place at the National Bank Stadium.
