In response to reservations and objections raised by the PCB, the ACC (Asian Cricket Council) has made the decision to allocate a reserve day for the Pakistan vs. India Super 4 match in the Super11 Asia Cup 2023.
This match is originally scheduled for September 10th, 2023, at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
In the event of adverse weather conditions that result in a suspension of play during the Pakistan vs. India match, the game will resume on September 11th, 2023, starting from the point at which it was halted.
It’s worth noting that if the match is extended to the reserve day, India will have to play two consecutive matches, as they are also slated to compete against Sri Lanka on September 12th.
Furthermore, the final match, scheduled for September 17th, will also have a reserve day allocated to it.
