Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been in the spotlight recently due to the news of their second baby on the way.
According to Indian media reports, Anushka Sharma is in her second trimester, and they’re waiting for the right moment to officially announce it. Amid this news, there’s a buzz that Virat Kohli had to make an emergency trip back to Mumbai while he’s busy with World Cup 2023 warm-up matches in Guwahati.
After a rain-out in their warm-up match against England in Guwahati, Team India is gearing up for their second and final warm-up match for the 2023 ODI World Cup.
They will face the Netherlands at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. However, India may be without their former captain, Virat Kohli, for this match.
As reported by Cricbuzz, Team India traveled from Guwahati to Thiruvananthapuram on a special flight on Sunday, but Kohli was not with them. The experienced No. 3 batsman had to request leave from the team management due to a personal emergency and flew back to Mumbai from Guwahati.
However, it’s mentioned that Kohli will rejoin the Indian team in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday.
While India is hoping for some cricket action in their final warm-up game on Tuesday, the weather in Thiruvananthapuram might not cooperate.
