Fast bowler Hasan Ali, a member of the national cricket team, has expressed his gratitude to Allah in a tweet after being named in the World Cup squad for the upcoming tournament in India.

During a press conference today, Pakistan Cricket Team Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq announced the 18-member squad for the prestigious event. Hasan Ali secured a place in the squad as a replacement for the young fast bowler Naseem Shah, who sustained an injury during the Asia Cup.

Hasan Ali tweeted, “I am deeply thankful to God! Representing my country in the World Cup is an indescribable feeling, and God willing, I will give my best for Pakistan. Please keep me and our team in your prayers, and a heartfelt thank you to my fans who have consistently supported me.”

Earlier in the press conference, the Chief Selector of the national cricket team, Inzamam-ul-Haq, stated, “We have endeavored to select the best possible team, but we had limited options in the fast bowlers’ category due to several injuries.”

He further said, Hasan Ali has demonstrated exceptional performance in recent events. He possesses valuable experience and performs well with both the new and old ball. Naseem Shah’s injury is indeed a significant loss for us and for Naseem himself.
