In Mastung, Balochistan, a blast occurred on Thursday, injuring Hafiz Hamdullah, a leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F), along with several others, near a vehicle.
Police quickly arrived at the scene and secured the area. Abdul Razzaq Sasoli, the Deputy Commissioner of Mastung, reported that several individuals, including the JUI-F leader, were transported to a hospital in Quetta for treatment.

According to officials, Hamdullah received initial medical care in Mastung before being transferred to the provincial capital. Fortunately, his condition is stable and not critical, as confirmed by JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghauri, who also mentioned that Hamdullah’s security personnel and two party colleagues were injured but in stable condition.
Ghauri revealed that Hamdullah was traveling from Quetta to Kalat when the attack occurred, but he had no information about the blast’s nature.
According to a spokesperson from the health department, 11 injured individuals were taken to Shaheed Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital in Mastung, with one person in critical condition.
The Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) of Mastung reported that a total of 11 people, including Hamdullah, were injured in the blast, and further investigation is underway to determine the nature of the explosion.
