On Wednesday, the X (formerly Twitter) account belonging to Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of former President Donald Trump, was compromised by hackers.
They proceeded to post a series of tweets from his account, some of which were highly objectionable in nature. Among these tweets was a false announcement regarding the passing of former US President Donald Trump. Additionally, another tweet targeted the current President, Joe Biden.

These posts were shared on Donald Trump Jr.’s verified X profile on September 20th. One particular post, which garnered over 140,000 views, contained the following statement: “I regret to inform you that my father, Donald Trump, has passed away. I intend to run for president in 2024.”
