Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan becomes highest single day in Hindi language of all time

Despite high expectations for “Pathaan” to be Shah Rukh Khan’s biggest blockbuster, the superstar is continually proving his box office prowess with each new film. Jawan has already raked in an impressive 206.06 crores in its first three days, and Sunday’s performance has exceeded all expectations.

Interestingly, there are two other films, “OMG 2” and “Gadar 2,” currently in theaters, but they are facing minimal competition. While “Gadar 2” is still earning decent numbers, “Jawan,” directed by Atlee, is setting new records at the Indian box office, demonstrating an exceptional performance.

Following the blockbuster three-day collection, Sunday was anticipated to be massive for “Jawan” due to positive audience feedback. Despite the hurdle of the India vs. Pakistan cricket match, the film has had an incredible Sunday, projected to earn an astonishing 80-82 crores (across all languages). Yes, you read that correctly! Sunday has set a new benchmark, marking the first-ever 80 crore day for Bollywood.

In terms of the Hindi version alone, “Jawan” is expected to earn 70-72 crores on Sunday, making it the first-ever 70 crore day in the history of Hindi cinema.

When you factor in the Tamil and Telugu versions, the film’s total collection now stands at an impressive 286.06-288.06 crores (across all languages) and 250.45-252.45 crores (Hindi) at the Indian box office. It’s truly astonishing! These achievements will be a tough act for upcoming Hindi/Bollywood films to follow because not everyone can create box office magic like Shah Rukh Khan.

While the weekend has been a spectacular success, Monday is expected to witness “Jawan” joining the prestigious 300 crore club, solidifying its status as a monumental entertainer.
