The action-packed film, headlined by Shah Rukh Khan, shattered numerous records on its release day, surpassing the unprecedented milestone of Rs 60 crore in opening-day earnings. Specifically, the Hindi version contributed around Rs 65 crore to this impressive total, while the Tamil and Telugu versions added approximately Rs 10 crore.
This extraordinary box office performance of “Jawan” was greatly aided by its strategic release on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, with expectations running high for even greater weekend business.
