Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film “Jawan” has made an impressive debut in theaters across the country.
The film, directed by Atlee, has garnered a tremendous response from fans, surpassing the initial buzz generated by “Pathaan.” Morning shows on the first day of its release were houseful in most places, demonstrating the immense popularity of the superstar.
According to reports from the morning shows on the opening day (until 12 p.m.), “Jawan” has achieved a remarkable start with an occupancy rate ranging from 58% to 62% in India. This performance is significantly better than Shah Rukh Khan’s previous comeback film, “Pathaan,” which had an opening morning occupancy of 48-50%.
With positive word-of-mouth and the strong initial response, “Jawan” is expected to see a substantial increase in attendance during the evening and night shows. The film had already amassed 36 crores in advance bookings for the opening day, and it is now well on its way to surpassing “Pathaan,” which had earned 57 crores on its opening day, by a substantial margin.
In addition to Shah Rukh Khan, “Jawan” features a star-studded cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, and others in significant roles. It also includes a special appearance by Deepika Padukone.
