The purchaser, none other than Scooter Braun, a well-known music manager and entrepreneur renowned for his work with artists like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande, made the acquisition through his company, Ithaca Holdings. Braun’s firm secured Big Machine Label Group, the record label that holds Swift’s music, in a deal reportedly valued at over 0 million.

However, this move has not been without its share of controversy, leading to a very public feud between Swift and Braun. The pop sensation expressed her disappointment over the sale, alleging that Braun had subjected her to years of “incessant, manipulative bullying.”

Swift also accused Braun of obstructing her from performing her own songs at the American Music Awards and using her music in an upcoming Netflix documentary.
