Lahore, Pakistan: Renowned Pakistani film producer Ammara Hukam and director Bilal Lashari’s magnum opus, ‘The Legend of Mula Jatt,’ has completed a year of its grand cinematic display, and its reign in cinemas worldwide remains unshaken.
According to Express News, the superhit blockbuster ‘The Legend of Mula Jatt’ was released on October 13th last year and has proven to be one of the most successful films in the Pakistani film industry’s history.
The box-office powerhouse ‘The Legend of Mula Jatt’ has completed a year of uninterrupted screenings in Pakistan and is set to continue its theatrical run at Universal Cinemas and Senator Cinemas on the film’s anniversary. Additionally, Q Cinemas in Lahore and Atrium Cinemas in Karachi have also made the decision to re-screen the movie.
The film’s director, Bilal Lashari, recently won the award for ‘Best Filmmaker’ for ‘The Legend of Mula Jatt’ at the International Film Festival Norway and has been nominated for the prestigious ‘Pride of Performance’ award in Pakistan for his outstanding contributions.
In 2022, the megahit film became the highest-grossing Punjabi film ever and, in its fourth week of release, shattered multiple records by becoming the highest-grossing Punjabi film worldwide.
The star-studded cast of the film includes Fahad Khan, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mirza Gohar Rasheed, Ali Azmat, Saime Baloch, and Faris Shafi, among others.
