According to the report, representatives for Harry and Meghan suggested bringing cushions and a new carpet to a public school in a low-income area of New York to better match Meghan’s personal style.
The emails revealed that the couple’s team had a significant role in choosing the school they would visit, editing press releases to make their appearance seem more important, and even changing the schedules of top school officials.
Additionally, the couple tightly controlled the guest list for their events, limiting it to specific publications while banning British tabloids. The emails also showed that students and faculty at the Harlem elementary school were asked to sign a legal document prohibiting them from discussing the project or making negative comments about the famous couple who were visiting.
