The current exchange rate for the US Dollar in Pakistan is set at Rs279.12. This marks a small increase of 32 paisas in the interbank exchange rate for the day.
According to reports from currency dealers, the first day of the business week witnessed this 32 paisas rise, making the new exchange rate Rs279.12 for one US dollar.
Looking back over the past week, there has been a notable overall increase of more than Rs1.19 in the interbank exchange rate for the US dollar. Last week, this increase amounted to Rs1.19, closing the US dollar at Rs278.80.
It’s worth noting that, after a continuous decline over the previous five weeks, the value of the US dollar has now stabilized when compared to the Pakistani currency.
