Even for individuals looking to buy smaller quantities, the prices remained appealing. At present, 10 grams of 24-karat gold were priced at Rs179,184, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold could be obtained for Rs164,252.
This fluctuation in gold prices was mainly influenced by a significant shift in the value of the US dollar, highlighting the close connection between currency values and the price of gold.
On the global stage, gold prices have been on a downward trend, with the current rate sitting at $1,972 per ounce.
