US Dollar appreciation continues

On Tuesday, the US Dollar kicked off the trading day at Rs287, experiencing a slight dip of 55 paisas in the interbank exchange rate.

By the close of the interbank trading on Tuesday, the Dollar settled at Rs287.87. Notably, since October 16, the American currency has gained Rs11.04 in value.

In the open market, the US Dollar maintained its position at Rs289 on Tuesday, showing no change. Over the period since October 16, it has seen an increase of Rs12.

The previous day, Monday, marked the 15th consecutive day of appreciation for the US Dollar, concluding the trading session at Rs287.55. It had started the day at Rs287.50, witnessing a significant rise of 47 paisas in the interbank exchange rate.

In the open market on Monday, the foreign currency experienced a noteworthy increase of Re1, reaching a value of Rs289.
