The previous day, Monday, marked the 15th consecutive day of appreciation for the US Dollar, concluding the trading session at Rs287.55. It had started the day at Rs287.50, witnessing a significant rise of 47 paisas in the interbank exchange rate.
In the open market on Monday, the foreign currency experienced a noteworthy increase of Re1, reaching a value of Rs289.
